Halo-inspired core gameplay

3-shot-kill pistol included, with new additions such as wall-jumping, unlimited sprint, multi-directional dashing, and alt-fire modes. Options let you choose your weapons when spawning, or have weapons as map pickups for classic arena shooter style gameplay.

Unique Infection mode

One player starts as a zombie with the goal of infecting the other players until they’ve all turned over to the zombie army. The humans can use the Minergun to build forts, while the zombies can dig through walls and use their tentacle grab to reach higher places or pull players toward them. Unique to our game is the ability to feast on player corpses to level up your zombie. You can play this mode with up to 30 players. We’ll usually have a full 30 player lobby in our weekly Developer play date. Come join us! It’s a very intense experience when you’re the last man standing and you have a whole swarm of player-controlled zombies coming after you.

Online co-op map making + completely destructible maps

The Minergun makes map-creation easy and fun. Almost every popular map you can think of has been remade by our community, and you can share them via Steam Workshop.

Game Modes and Modifiers

Tons of Game Modes and Game Modifiers to choose from. Make your game truly unique with finely tunable settings and modes. Control every aspect of the game.

Zombie Infection

One player starts as a zombie with the goal of infecting the other players until they've all turned over to the zombie army. The humans can use the Minergun to build forts, while the zombies can dig through walls and use their tentacle grab to reach higher places or pull players toward them. Murder the Flag

Alpha and Omega Team have a territorial dispute. Pick a side. Objectives are to infiltrate the enemy base and steal their flag. Come back to your team base and Murder the Enemy Flag to score points.

Murder Match

Go Head to Head with other Miners in an all-out Free For All. Intense bloody battles with danger lurking in every corner.

Zombie Survival

Fight against the incoming Zombie Horde alone or with friends. Infection can be enabled as well to unleash absolute zombie chaos!

Team Murder Match

Alpha and Omega Team want to murder each other. Help fulfill their dreams of a dystopian world order where Part Time Mineshaft workers go head to head for the ruling elite.

Weapons & Tools

Destroy your enemies and the terrain with many weapons and tools at your disposal.

Miner Gun

Build and Destroy. Loads of blocks to choose from.

Pistol

A Tiny but Mighty weapon with an exception kick. Murder a Miner with 5 Shots to the body or 3 shots to the head.

Shotgun

Perfect for short-range combat. Includes a secret camouflage ability to blend into your surroundings. Trap your enemies up close.

Sniper

A powerful weapon short to long range. Murders a Miner 1 Shot to the head or 2 Shots to the body.
BOOM Headshot!

Rocket Launcher

This Big fella can shoot rockets to Murder a Miner on impact and damage surroundings. Includes a special ability that lets you directly guide the rocket. Great to deliver a payload around sharp corners.

Sword

Slash your enemies in half. The Energy Sword packs more power than a punch. Includes a special ability to charge and lunge forward, to obliterate everything in front of you or reach high places.

Battle Rifle

Unique 3-burst rifle that is similar to the Pistol. Better at spreading our your shots on enemies to miss less.

Hookshot

Become Spider Miner with this incredible tool. Use it anywhere to reach hard to get to areas or grab other players towards you.

Plasma SMG

A fast-shooting submachine gun that fires small plasma balls at enemies. Great for those who can lead and predict enemy movement.

Customization

Customize the way you play the game with free in-game cosmetic unlocks.

Armor Customization

Fully customize the look of your miner. Choose each body part color, helmet and skin.

Weapon Customization

Swag your weapon bling to everyone in the lobby with unlockable weapon skins.
